Mr. Charles Richard Chappell, 64, of Byram died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Jackson. \ \ Visitation is 5-8pm Saturday and 12-1pm Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services are 1pm Sunday at the funeral home with burial following at 4pm at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Winston County.\ \ A native of Louisville, Mr. Chappell had lived in the Byram area for 16 years. He worked at Milwaukee Electric Tools for 25 years as a plant supervisor and previously at U.S. Motors in Philadelphia. Mr. Chappell enjoyed cattle farming, gardening and was an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Clara Chappell, sister, Joy Woodruff, and brother, Clement Chappell.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jane Rainer Chappell; sons Jim Fisher of Byram and Bob Fisher (Mary Ann) of Bolton; daughters, Lynda Margie Fisher, both of Byram; sister, Faye Booth (Joe) of College Station, TX; grandchildren, April Ruffin (Nick), Christi and Michele Fisher; great grandchildren, Brennan and Bailey Ainsworth; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.\ \ Memorials may be made to Good Hope Cemetery Fund.\
