Charlie Williams

Mr. Charlie Williams, 83 of Florence passed away at his home on January 12, 2010. Visitation will be from 5- 8 p.m. Thursday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be Friday 12 noon at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Star Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Williams was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Star Baptist Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Minnie Lee Williams and sister, Nancy Edith Carpenter. \ \ He leaves behind a wife of 54 years, Carolyn J. Williams; daughter, Cynthia J. (Alan) Butler; two sons: Thomas C. Williams and Charlie L. Williams; one sister, Ruby Eloise Buckley. He also leaves behind two grandchildren: Bridgett R. (Nick) Ybarra and Pamela L. Ware; 2 step grandchildren: Perry Butler and Nikki (Robbie) Bunch. Mr. Williams was a proud great granddaddy of three, Kain, Rastlin, Serenity Ybarra and a proud step granddaddy of three, Lola and Coy Bunch, Megan Causey.\
