Mrs. Charlotte Lou Ball

Mrs. Charlotte Lou Ball of Florence, MS passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood at the age of 64. There will be a visitation at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Friday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Service will be on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Funeral Home with visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories in Florence. Mrs. Ball resided in Florence for 30 years after moving from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a homemaker who loved gospel music and most especially, loved her family. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Delores Hagar and Ray Downard. She is survived by her husband, Vernon M. Ball of Florence; Son, Kevin (Carol) Eldridge of Byram; Daughters, Tammy (Tom) Carroll and Yvette (Walt) Eldridge-Smith of Middletown, OH; Tina (Ashley Ray Welborn) Gray and Melissa (Amber Jackson) Ball of Florence, MS; Brothers, Bob Downard of Oxford, OH, Jim Griffin of Brookville, IN, Mack Garland of Greensburg, IN, Kevin Downard of Ohio; Sisters, Marlee Long of Fountain City, IN, Nina Hubbard of Hamilton, OH, Brenda Evans of Mesa, AZ and Pat Griffin of Ohio; 10 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
