Mrs. Charlotte "Ann" Crider

Charlotte “Ann” Crider passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Pearl. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again Thursday, September 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Ann was born October 14, 1961 to Sonny and Hilda Brewer in Jackson, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Pearl and was described as a “simple woman”. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed playing games. Ann is preceded in death by her fathers, Sonny Brewer and AC McLain; sister, Sandra Robinson; twin brother, George “Buddy” Brewer; and husband, John Thornton. She is survived by her children, Amanda (Tom) Holifield of Pearl, Angel (Brandon) Willis of Pearl, and Thomas “Bubba” (Brandy) Crider of Pearl; grandchildren, Andrew Crider, Dylan Holifield, Autumn Crider, Kaitlyn Collins, Abby Holifield, Landen Crider, Grayson Crider, Anthony Luchi, Dixie Luchi, Country Willis and Fancy Willis; great grandchild, Eden Collins; mother, Hilda McLain of Pearl, sister, Pamela (Stacey) Norton of Brandon; brother, David (Jennifer) McLain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
