Chi Tai (Mike) Wang

\ Chi Tai Wang, owner of Hunan Garden Restaurant, passed away on August 18, 2011 at the age of 60. Chi Tai Wang, born in Taiwan on October 12, 1950, came to the United States in 1979, and has been living in Jackson since 1984.\ \ Chi Tai Wang learned he had stomach cancer on July 21, 2011, and had surgery to remove the tumor on July 27, 2011. He recovered from the surgery and went home on August 4, 2011. On August 13, 2011, Chi Tai Wang went to the emergency room at Baptist hospital, where he was admitted and was having tests performed to see why he was having blackout episodes. Chi Tai Wang passed away at Baptist hospital on August 18, 2011 at 3:42 am of heart failure.\ \ Chi Tai Wang is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kim Lan Wang, 48; his daughter, Felicia Wang, 24; his son, Christopher Wang, 21; his mother, Ing Fong Yao, 86; and his 2 sisters and brother, Shuan Lin, Janet Tsai, and Gi Kai Wang.\ \ Friends and family are invited and welcome to the visitation on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 4-10 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home, 7225 Siwell Road, Byram, MS 39272.
