John Christopher "Chris" Moses died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Houston, TX at the age of 49. \ \ Visitation will be from 5-8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram on Friday, September 16 and 10am prior to service at 11am Saturday, September 17, at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church on Siwell Road, Byram. Burial will follow at Lakewood Cemetery in Clinton, MS.\ \ Chris was a member of the Baptist Church in Iuka, MS, where he had lived for the past 2 years.\ \ Chris was born December 18, 1961. He is preceded in death by his father John Edward Moses.\ \ Chris attended McCluer Academy and graduated in 1980. He served in the United States Army as a military policeman, stationed in Hanau, Germany. Chris was also a Master Mason at the Forest Hill Lodge in Jackson.\ \ From the time Chris was knee high to a grasshopper, he followed his dad with an electrician's belt with tools on his side.
