Mr. Christopher Ross Overman II

Christopher Ross Overman, II, age 27 of Clinton, MS passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home in Clinton. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am Memorial Service, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Christopher was born July 25, 1990 in Jackson, MS to Chris Overman and Kaye Lynn Martin Overman. A graduate of McLaurin High School and graduate with a BS in Political Science from MSU via USM. He currently worked at Burr & Forman LLP Law Firm. Christopher loved the outdoors, particularly hunting deer and squirrels. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend, who will be deeply missed. He always had a big smile, sense of humor, big heart and loving personality. He is survived by his mother and father; step-mother, Michelle Overman of Mulberry, IN; sister, Kayden Overman of Pearl, MS; aunt, Penny Allen and her two sons of Jackson, MS; grandmothers, Betty Ainsworth Martin of Pearl, MS and Linda Overman of Jackson, MS; grandfather, Dr. Steven J. Overman of Clinton, MS; uncle and aunt Clay & Traci Whittington of Brookhaven, MS and their four children; aunt Rhonda Martin Bartley (Kent) and their daughter of Graham, NC. His uncle AJ and aunt Tammy Overman along with their two children of Madison, AL. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Burney K. “Wimpy”Martin of Jackson, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chancellor Funeral Home to graciously assist the family with funeral expenses.
