Cindy Fant was born on December 29, 1955 to Dennis and Jean Chancellor. She was rescued from this life on Sunday, March 27, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held at Hickory Ridge Baptist Church in Florence, MS on Friday, April 01, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Cindy grew up with her sister Pam Flint in Forrest, MS. During her high school years, she enjoyed being a cheerleader for Forest High School, also a majorette, and was a soprano in the choir at FBC, Forest. After high school, mom worked hard along with dad to raise four kids. It was important to her that we all did well with our studies and whatever extracurricular activities we chose. She loved fiercely and would defend us kids and any who she loved at all cost. Although she did not have much, but she was a giver who sacrificed in order to give whatever she could. Mom loved to laugh and her silliness caused much laughter over the years. Having grandkids was a great source of joy for mom. Chihuahuas have always had a special place in her heart. Most of the ones she was supposed to be selling ended up as her newest additions. Mom worked as an assistant teacher, at IGA Insurance, and several years as the office manager for Dr. Andrew Bishop at St. Dominic in Jackson. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Jean Chancellor and her nephew, Cliff Shanks. Her survivors include her four children, Wendy Fant, Tricia Fant, Terry (Tina) Fant, and Melissa Fant; the father of her children, Randy Fant; her sister, Pam Flint; her special friend, Adam, who loved and cared for her; her grandchildren, Marco (Jessica) Quinterro, Aaron Skirtech, Matthew Kim, Michael Kim, Amanda Kim, Karli Sanders, Camron Sanders, Riley (Shelby) Fant, Maddy (Matthew) Dunn, Brooklyn Fant, Anna Grace Fant, Aldon Middleton, and Chrisha Middleton; her niece, Jordan Starnes; her nephew, Chance Flint; and 6 great grandchildren.
