Clara Nell Mancil

Clara Nell Mancil was called to her Heavenly home on Monday, August 7, 2023, in Florence, MS. She was 89 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with the funeral service following at 11:00 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow the funeral service at Richland Cemetery in Richland.

Clara Nell was born on February 28, 1934, to Earl and Valeria Sebren in Harrisville, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland. Clara Nell was a lifelong Banker. She retired from Trustmark National Bank after 48 years of service. Loved traveling with her husband. She served in many organizations and was very involved in the community. She loved decorating, especially at Christmas. This was her favorite time of the year. Clara Nell loved her family, entertaining and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William “Billy” Carl Mancil and brother, Paul Sebren.  She is survived by her son, William “Scot” Mancil (Susan) of Richland; daughter, Sherri Mancil Adams (Bob) of Madison; brother, Larry Sebren of Ashville, NC; sister, Peggy Sims of Harrisville; grandchildren, Kyle Mancil (Karla) of Richland and Kendal Mancil of Richland; great grandchildren, Rhett Mancil and Millie Mancil.

The family would like to thank Villa South Assisted Living in Florence and HomeCare Hospice in Jackson for their excellent care and love.
