Mrs. Clara Mae Waits

Clara Mae Noblin Waits, 85, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born September 3, 1927 in Corinth, MS, the daughter of the late Robert E. Noblin and Alice Smith Noblin. Mrs. Waits is preceded in death by her late husband, Elmer E. Waits; son, Elmer E. Waits, Jr.; brothers, James Parchman, Ben Noblin, Robert Noblin, and Edward Noblin; and grandson, Thomas Waits. She is survived by her 4 children, Sue Thompson and Charlotte Ragland both of Florence, MS, John Waits of Powdersville, SC, and David Waits of Duncan, SC; sisters, Betty Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, Peggy Duke of Jonesboro, AK and Ruth King of Bartlett, TN; brother, Gary Noblin of Oakland, TN; 10 grandchildren, Sandra Covington of Florence, MS, Sharla Theus of Petal, MS, Selena Paul of Mobile, AL, Richard Arnett of Denver, CO, Robert Waits of Nashville, TN, Felecia Waits of Carey, NC, Karen Brown of Mobile, AL, Michael Waits of Monks Corner, SC, Shawna Gilbreath of Burlison, TN, and Cynthia Sanders of Covington, TN; and 11 great grandchildren, Chase and Hanna Covington of Florence, MS, Bailey and Asia Theus of Petal, MS, Tyler Paul of Star, MS, Porter Waits of Nashville, TN, Samuel, Benjamin, Nicholas and Katherine Gilbreath of Burlison, TN, and Jillian Sanders of Covington, TN.
