Mr. Clifford Daniel Horton

Clifford Daniel “Danny” Horton passed away on Thursday, October 14, at the age of 63. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Harmonia Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery in Sallis, MS. Danny grew up in the Jackson Metro area. He worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for nearly three decades while working in multiple states. Throughout the years, his hobbies included hunting and fishing with family and friends while also having a love for cars. Danny is survived by his mother, Joann Horton of Byram, along with two sisters: Lynette Keeton (husband, Richard) of Brandon and Janet Bethany (husband, Ronnie) of Raymond, and one brother: Michael Horton (wife, Pam) of Birmingham, AL. Danny is preceded in death by his father: J.C. Horton, along with aunts: Clistene Horton and Carolyn Winsett. He was also preceded in death by uncles: Herschel Green, Randall Green, Leo Cantrell, and Thomas Peoples. Danny is survived by four nieces and nephews: Shea Miller (husband, Jack) of Scottsdale, AZ, Micah Yeck (husband, Paul) of Birmingham, AL, Davis Horton of Memphis, TN and Nicolas Bethany (wife, Jessie) of Terry, MS.
