Mr. Cody Dewayne Davis

Cody Dewayne Davis, 22, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 due to a motorcycle accident. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, March 11, 2016, all at Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Cody lived all his life in Raymond, where he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, 4-wheeler riding and being with family which brought him great joy. Cody was a supervisor with Adednego Environmental services and member of Hinds Independent Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charlie T. Davis and David Ollie Bryant. Survivors all from Raymond include his father and step-mother, Jimmy & Vivian Davis; mother and step-dad, Betty Davis & Luis Rodriguez; fiancé Ivy Newcomb; son to be, Lane Allen Davis; brother Jeffrey (Tricha) Davis; grandparents Curtis & Bobbie Moore; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
