Connie Beavers

Connie Beavers, 51, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, July 6, 2013 at her home in Raymond. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Raymond Road Baptist Church to remember and celebrate her life from 1:00 until the 3:00 PM service. A native of Louin, Connie spent most of her life in Jackson where she was a lifelong nurse. Starting at Hinds General Hospital, she retired as equipment coordinator of Surgery at River Oaks Hospital. Connie was a loving mother and always looked for an adventure whether it was in the yard or the house. Her passion was cooking. She was always very generous, thinking of others before herself. She was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church. Connie is preceded in death by her father Paul Ishee, her sister Kathy Leverett, and her brother-in-law Ernie King. Connie is survived by her daughter Amanda Beavers of Raymond; son Joey Beavers of Byram; mother Wynette Ishee of Raymond; sister Kerri King of Hattiesburg; and was known as Bama to her grandson Joey Paul Beavers, JR., nieces Emily Leverett and Jessi King and nephew Wade King.
