Mrs. Connie Colleen Pitts

Connie Colleen Pitts, 63, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, March 14th from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs. Pitts was born November 6, 1956 to Billy and Ellen Abbey in Connecticut. She lived in Magee for many years before moving to Florence 25 years ago. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Connie enjoyed fishing, and she loved her animals. She also loved watching football, especially her Steelers! Along with her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Star Pitts and by her sister, Peggy Bacci. She is survived by her husband, Ray Pitts of Florence; her step-children, John Anthony Pitts (Carla) of Pickens, SC and Lauren Michelle Pitts of Florence; grandchildren, Mollie Elizabeth Pitts and Savannah Rae Pitts; her brothers, Jimmy Abbey of Florence and Bradley Abbey (Christy) of Cuba, AL; and her nephews, Dane and David.
