Cora Mae Lack Morgan, 87, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 and 12noon until the 2pm funeral service Thursday, June 18, 2015, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Dentville cemetery in Hazlehurst, MS. Mrs. Morgan had worked over 30 years at St. Dominic Hospital as a nursing assistant. The mother of seven children, she enjoyed playing Bingo and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lack; daughter Bobbie Lack; son Albert “Bo” Lack and grandchild Herman Snell. Survivors include daughters Sue Jones (Tim) of Pelahatchie, Georgia Jenkins of Brandon, Alice Long (Ronnie) of Meridian, Margaret Harris (Ray) of Tampa FL and son Billy Lack (Wanda) of Walnut Grove; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
