Curtiss Edward Tracy, 79, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, August 05, 2021 from 5:00 pm.—8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS and again Friday, August 06, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Curt was born on September 25, 1941 in Grant Co., Minnesota to Vernon and Grace Tracy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Curt never met a stranger and had a servant’s heart—he helped so many people in need. He enjoyed deer hunting, but was a no-killing son of a gun. Curt was an avid Nascar fan who loved Dale Earnhardt. Above all, he loved his family He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Edith “Charlene” Tracy; mother and step-father, Grace and John Linvelle; father, Vernon Tracy; brother, Charlie Tracy; and sons, Cary Vallette and Harvey Miller. He is survived by his daughters, Kirstin (Phil) Rose of Sodus, NY, Mya Madsen, and Teresa Miller of Byram; son, Mancy (Mister) Miller of Byram; grandchildren, Dennon and Hunter Miller, Chloe Perry, Taylor Price, Katie Perry, Mikaela and Spencer Correia, Christina, Jordan, and Randall; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Madelyn Miller; his best friends, Todd Jenkins and Gary Alexander; sister-in-law, Wren (Penny) Hammons; and all his Lake Ridgelea friends.
