Cynthia Kaye Smith

Cynthia Kaye Smith, 57, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at her home in Byram. Visitation will be 1pm until the 3pm funeral service Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Cindy was a native of Jackson, having lived the last 16 years in Byram. She was a graduate of Provine High School after which she joined the MS Air National Guard for 12 years. Since then she has been a homemaker, raising her children and caring for her parents. She was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents James Thomas Smith and Ada Christine Magee Smith. Survivors include her son Hunter Smith of Byram; daughter Holly (Matt) Tucker of Brandon; brothers, Jimmy (Jonnie) Smith, Doug (Kathy) Smith of Madison, Dennis Smith of Byram and Mike (Donna) Smith of Florence; grandchildren Kaelyn Tucker and Owen Tucker.
