Daisy Allen

Daisy Dean Ford Allen, 100, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2011 at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service will be Friday at 2 pm at Florence Cemetery.\ Mrs. Allen was a life long resident of Rankin County. She was a homemaker who was always so proud of her family. She never thought she would live long enough to see her great grandchildren, much less her great-great grandchildren.\ She is preceded in death by her husband, Berry Allen and her son, Billy Allen. She is survived by her son, John Robert Allen, Sr. of Florence; her daughter, Doris Allen Pearson of Florence; her grandchildren, Susan Pearson Norton of Richland, Rone Allen Pearson of Florence, and Robbie Allen of Pearl; 4 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.\
