Dan Parkman

Dan Parkman, 67, died at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and on Tuesday from 12:30 until the 2 p.m. services in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Pulaski.\ \ A resident of Richland, Mr. Parkman was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent most of his life painting, in construction, and with the Hwy Dept. Construction. His last job was with SOS mobile home transport.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Bertha Traxler Parkman, brothers Hershel and Austin Parkman, sister Betty Jean Campus and nephew Tommy Parkman.\ \ Mr. Parkman is survived by his wife Colleen of Richland, son Danny Miles of Sanford, NC, daughters Vickey Copeland of Florence and Lynn Anderson of Brandon, sister Ellie Faye Bounds of Pearl, 8 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.\ \ Online guestbook available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
