Mr. Danny Lee Bates

Danny Lee Bates, 64, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at St Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, June 13th from 5-8 PM and Saturday, June 14th from 12 PM until the 1 PM funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Florence City Cemetery. Mr. Bates is survived by his wife of 30 years Audrey Williams Bates of Brandon; sons, Ricky (Brandi) Williams of Brandon and Vince (Gwynn) Williams of Big Sandy, TX; daughters, Tammy Williams of Gulfport and Ginger (Dennis) Prine of Pearl; brothers, Donald (Phoebe) Bates of Pelahatchie and Harry (Beverly) Bates of Florence; sisters, sisters, Linda Sue Bates (Gordon Devine) of Uitca, Barbara (Danny) Morea of Pearl, Cathy (Tommy) Cockrell of Florence and Debra Polk of Florence; and 8 grandchildren.
