Darcy Darnell Hicks II

Darcy Hicks, II, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away on February 16, 2025 at age 37. He was born January 25, 1988 at Darnell Army Hospital, Fort Hood, TX, to Darcy Hicks and the late Andrea M. (Gray) Hicks.

Darcy attended Terry High School in Terry, MS and then pursued Diesel Truck Technology at Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville, TN.

He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Ashiya Hicks, and his beloved grandson, Ki'yeir K. Dortch both of Gautier, MS. He is also survived by his father, Darcy Hicks and stepmother, Christell Hicks of Byram, MS; two sisters, Tanisha Johnson of Perry Hall, MD and Christina Hicks of Byram, MS; his brother-in-law, Divon Johnson of Perry Hall, MD and his nephew, Liam David Johnson of Perry Hall, MD. Additionally, Darcy is remembered by a host of uncles, aunts and many other relatives and friends.

Darcy was a kind soul with a heart full of love, and he will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
