Mr. Darryl Lee Russell

Darryl Lee Russell, 63, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. A private graveside service will be held at Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Darryl was born on August 21, 1958 to Fred and Geraldine Russell. Raised in Crystal Springs, MS, he was a resident of Richardson, TX for many years before moving back to Mississippi. Previously employed with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office and Dallas Auto Body, he had been employed with Farm Bureau for the last 12 years of his working career as an appraiser. Darryl was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Russell; mother, Jerry Russell of Florence; sons, Jonathan (Irena) Nowell of Fairhope, AL and Daniel (Lauren) Russell of Florence; daughter, Jenna (Jason) Jennings of Florence; grandchildren, Parker, Harper, and Stefen; sister, Melanie (Eric) Sorenson of Stringer; and nephews, Drew, Chad, and Jordan.
