David Michael Boggan

David Michael “Mike” Boggan was born to Johnnie and Lorraine Boggan on April 10, 1957. He passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022 surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held at Country Woods Baptist Church in Byram, MS on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.

Mike and his father founded RicMike Cable Service and for years handled cable installation in Jackson, MS and Memphis, TN for Capitol Cablevision. His love of computers led him to a career as a field service engineer for various companies, the latest of which was Decision One. He was loved and respected by all of his colleagues and clients.

Mike loved NASCAR, riding his motorcycle (especially with the Patriot Guard Riders), playing computer games, and all things Star Trek, Star Wars, Top Gun, and Avengers. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone.

A loving father and devoted husband, Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Lorraine Boggan and his brother, Jon Richard. He is survived by his adoring wife, Dena, whom he was married to for 40 years; his children, Richard and April; and his daughter-in-law, Amy.
