David June Cooper, 58, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at CMMC in Jackson.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be at 10am Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park .\ \ Mr. Cooper lived most of his life in Jackson and was a graduate of Byram High School. He was a avid and dedicated Racer and fan all of his life and had a passion for horses.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents Ival and Lillie Jean Cooper. Survivors include his daughter Sharon Halasz; step-daughter, Amanda Oswalt; step-son, Andy Thompson; step-mother, June Cooper; brothers, Gene Cooper of Crystal Springs, Gary Cooper (Dodi) of Byram, Ray Cooper of Jackson; sister, Brenda Cooper of Florence; number of nieces and nephews; 4 grandchildren and his K-9's Taz and Man.\ \ On line guestbook at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
