David Corkern

David Russell Corkern, 57, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, January 19, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South.\ \ Mr. Corkern was a 1973 graduate of Council McCluer, going from high school into the family business, eventually becoming president of Corkern Door Company. He was gifted with humor in the face of adversity and much generosity.\ \ He is preceded in death by his father, Russell H. Corkern, and brother Charles Philip Corkern. Survivors include his mother Willie Corkern of Jackson, daughter Amy Pieralisi (Jay) of Collierville, TN; brother Donald Edward Corkern (Debby) of Clinton; sister Carolyn Corkern Williams (Mark) of Leavenworth, KS; brother Bruce Corkern (Rhonda) of Madison; 6 nephews, 3 nieces, and grandson Russell Pieralisi.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhomecom.\
