David Ashley Fisher, 45, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. The family held a memorial service on Monday, January 9, 2017. David was born in Greenville MS on November 29, 1971. He worked as a plumber with United Plumbing. David loved the Lord and witnessed to many about God’s Love. He will be remembered as a sweet spirited person and was known for his kindness. He loved his son, Austin very much. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends, was an Ole Miss fan, and an animal lover. David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Inez Willoughby and by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Margorie Fisher. He is survived by his son, Austin Fisher; mother, Rita Fisher of Brandon; father, James Fisher; sisters, Stephanie Mahaffey of Pearl and Holly (Robert) Jenkins of Batesville; uncles, Malcolm Willoughby, Michael Willoughby, Paul Willoughby, David Willoughby and John Willoughby; and aunts, Wanda King, Sharon Abide, Debbie Willoughby, Jane Willoughby, Renee Willoughby, and Nina Willoughby. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff at St. Dominic’s and Methodist Specialty Care Center for their care.
