David Franklin Fuller

David Franklin Fuller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born on December 11, 1949, in Jackson, Mississippi, where he would later lay the foundation of a family filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Fuller of Florence, MS, with whom he shared 52 1/2 years of profound love and companionship. Together, they built a life rich in affection and warmth, raising four remarkable sons: David (Melanie) Shane Fuller of Raymond, Jonathan David Fuller of Florence, Justin (April) Lynn Fuller of Florence, and Dustin (Corey) Lynn Fuller of Covington, LA. Each of his sons carries a piece of David's spirit, reflecting his dedication, kindness, and unwavering support.

As a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, David embodied the values of service and commitment. His time in the military not only shaped him as a man but also instilled in him a sense of purpose that extended beyond his service years. Throughout his life, he remained dedicated to the principles of hard work and unwavering resolve, always staying busy whether tinkering with projects around the house or helping others in need. Nothing was beyond his capabilities; he was a source of wisdom and assistance to his family, always willing to lend a hand or share a solution.

David's passion extended beyond mere tasks; he loved deeply and cherished his family above all else. His grandchildren – Bailee Lynn Fuller, Owen David Fuller, William Walker Fuller, Hadley Collette Fuller, and Amelia Lynn Fuller – were the light of his life, and he took great joy in watching them grow and thrive. He often shared with them stories of his adventures, imparting lessons wrapped in humor and love.

David was an active member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, where he found community and fellowship. Known for his servant's heart, he was always present for those around him, offering a comforting presence and a helping hand. He was particularly devoted to caring for his mother, Lena Marana Westerfield, reflecting the deep love and respect he held for family.

His bonds spread beyond his immediate family to his brothers, Johnny (Debbie) Broom of McComb, Jimmy Pierce of McComb, D.C. (Sherry) Pierce of McComb, and Frankie Pierce of McComb, with whom he shared a unique camaraderie and lifelong memories.

David's life was a testament to resilience, commitment, and the strength of family ties. He will truly be missed, not only for the roles he played as a husband, father, and grandfather but for the warmth he brought to every interaction. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation is set for February 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, Mississippi. His final resting place will be at the Garden of Memories in Florence, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory immediately following the funeral service. As we gather to celebrate the life of David Franklin Fuller, we hold each cherished moment close, honoring a man who touched so many lives with his love and kindness.
