Mr. David Russell McCawley

David Russell McCawley, 66, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 31, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Houston, TX. David was a loving father and grandfather, his passion was to visit with his children and grandkids. He also enjoyed woodworking and reading. He was preceded in death by his son, James Shannon McCawley and his sister, Sherry McCawley. He is survived by his wife, Linda Luke of Florence, MS; son, Kevin (Jennifer) McCawley of Baytown, TX; daughter, Shelly (Tommy) Dodd of Friendswood, TX; brothers, Danny McCawley of Denver, CO and Mickey McCawley of Hamilton, MT; step-brother Paul Zieschang of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Robin McCawley of Kenosha, WI, Sheila Schultz of Tomball, TX and Dodie McCawley; grandchildren Shannon McCawley, Tesla McCawley, Grayson Moore and Savanah McCawley, Derrick McCawley and Brayden Dodd and a host of friends.
