Mr. David Allen Sims Jr.

David Allen Sims, Jr., 31, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home in Florence. A Graveside Service will be Friday, September 18th at 2:30 PM at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. David has lived in Florence for a little over a year, moving from Mendenhall. He worked as a stocker at Michaels and worked at Kroger for 10 years before that. He was loved by all and his kids were his world. David is survived by his children, Allen Hayden Sims of Mendenhall and Emily Miana Sims of Richland; his mother, Lisa Parker of Corinth; fiancée, Sarah Lewis of Florence; sisters, Summer Sims of Tulsa, OK, and Alicia Bartholomew of D’Lo; and Aunt and Uncle, Marie and Derald Dear of Braxton.
