Deanna Virginia Walley, 38, passed away on Wednesday, August 04, 2021 in Houston, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.—8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS and again Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park. The family requests that masks be worn during the services. Deanna was born on March 1, 1983 to Henry and Devonda Walley of Jackson. A graduate of Forest Hill, she had been employed with MDOT as an administrative assistant V for the past 17 years. In her younger years, she was a member of the Junior Olympic Skating Club and loved playing softball. Deanna enjoyed camping out with her friends at RV Parks and trail riding. She loved cook-outs, listening to music, and just hanging out with family & friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeremiah T. Walley; grandfather, James H. Hankins; grandmother, Annabelle Hankins. She is survived by her loving son, Jeremiah L. Walley of Raymond; parents, Henry and Devonda Walley of Jackson; brother, Heath Walley of Terry; nephews, Christian Walley of Jackson and Grayson Walley of Raymond; Uncle Jamie (Jennifer) of Madison and their two children, Ethan & Annabelle; the love of her life, Mitchell Harrison of Raymond and his two children, Amilia and Ella and a host of friends. Deanna made a impact on everyone's life she came in contact with. She'll always be remembered for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. We would like to personally thank each and every person that has prayed, supported her, donated to Go-Fund Me, and stood by her during this difficult journey, especially her MDOT family from all over the state for donating their time to her, whom she loved dearly.
