Debbie passed into the arms of Jesus on February 5, 2022 at Willow Creek Retirement Home where she had resided for the past 5 years. She was 69 years of age. Debbie was born on Sept. 18, 1952 to the late Tommy and Mert Dillard. She lived her entire life in Byram, MS and graduated in the top of her class from Byram High School. Debbie’s favorite hobby was to play Bingo to which she was a pro at it. Not exactly sure how she did it, but she was always winning! Debbie was also an avid “Saints” fan. She loved watching football. She could tell you play by play how everything went during the game. She watched a lot of TV which included some of her favorites, “Young & the Restless”, “Days of Our Lives”, and “Andy Griffin”. These were the TV shows that she grew up watching and when her Dad became ill, they would watch them together. Without a doubt, the first thing she asked Jesus was “Where’s my Daddy and Momma?” Debbie is survived by her sisters, Lynn Roberson, Kay Mitchell (Roscoe), Carole Wiysel (PeeMite) and one brother, Tom Dillard (Amy). She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 39 great nieces and nephews, and 28 great-great nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her Momma and Daddy, Tommy and Mert Dillard; one sister, Anita Carlile; three nephews, Shorty Mitchell, Ashley Wiysel, and Garrett Dillard. Serving as pallbearers will be Kent Bryant, Justin Dillard, Cade Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Tim Smith, and Zack Wiysel. “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or discouraged; for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
