Deborah Ann Miller

Deborah Ann Miller, 57, died in Portland, OR Thursday, June 6 from the complications resulting from lung cancer. Debbie’s family will be holding a viewing at 2p Wednesday, June 12th at the Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence MS, followed by a 3pm graveside service at the Florence Cemetery. Debbie was retired and resided in Portland, OR, where she was devoted to her pets and her books. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Carroll Miller, originally from Florence MS, and Ella Mae Miller, originally from Hamburg MS, and Uncle and Aunt Fletcher and Vivian Miller of Florence, MS. Debbie is survived by her brother Carroll, niece and nephew Amy and Sam Miller of Minnetonka MN, niece Maria Miller of Maplewood MN, cousins Patricia Sessions of Prentiss MS and Vivia Catherine Gunn of Clinton MS, and good friend Donna Graham of Tualatin, OR. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Open Arms of Minnesota http://www.openarmsmn.org a non-profit organization that cooks and delivers nutritional meals specifically tailored to the needs of individuals living with cancer and 60+ other life-threatening diseases.
