Deborah \Debbie\"" Koenig

Deborah Ann Nail Koenig, 62, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Tulane Medical Center while waiting for a liver transplant. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery in Kilmichael.\ \ Debbie was born in Starkville, MS. After retiring from Allstate Insurance, she became a homemaker. She loved her family and never met a stranger. She loved being a wife, mom and Mimi. She attended First Baptist Church Terry, MS. \ \ Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Juanita Nail; daughter, Kristy Ann Koenig; and brother, Billy Nail.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Karl Koenig; sons, Kris Koenig (Robbin), Kurt Koenig and Klint Koenig (friend, Jessica Buffington); daughter, Keli Holifield (Frank); grandchildren, Madelyn and Charlotte Koenig, Harry Koenig, and Adrienné, Franklin, Clinton, and Solomon Holifield; brother, John D.
