Mrs. Delores Grube

Delores Mae Barnes Grube, 74, passed away at her home in Florence on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Visitation will be Monday, March 25th from 11 AM until the 2 PM funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Mrs. Grube was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church and a Florentine Lady here in the community. She began her real estate career in 1984 for Lloyd Burton Century 21 then went on to become a Broker for her own company, L & D Properties. She loved her pioneer heritage and was very involved in passing that down to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Grube was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Thelma Barnes; and by her sister, Orcellia Hill. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Grube of Florence; sons, John (Tracy) Grube of Florence, Albert (Candy) Grube of Florence, Paul (Wendy) Grube of Braxton; daughter, Pamela (John) Grant of Brandon; brothers, Harold Barnes, Billy Barnes, Don Barnes, David Barnes all of Texas; and 5 grandchildren.
