Deloris Ann Greer

Deloris Ann Greer, 81, went to be with her Lord Friday August 18, 2023, in Jackson, Ms. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 22, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday August 23, 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM and continuing until the 10:00 AM Funeral Service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park South on McCluer Road in Jackson.

Deloris was born February 15, 1942, in Aberdeen, MS, to Hosey Lee and Helen McKienly Hand Pace.

She made her home in Jackson for the last 52 years where she was a member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church. She was active and loved to sing in the choir if her health allowed. She loved watching football, baseball, and soap Operas.

Those preceding her in death are her parents, Hosey and Helen Pace; husband, William D. Greer; four sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory are the 3 sons, Richard Talley of Jackson, Randall C. Talley (Cindy) of Grapevine, TX, Ronald G. Talley ( Karleen) of Tucson, AZ; stepdaughter, Cynthia Garcia of Rhome, TX; 2 grandchildren, Jackson Talley, Joseph Petruk; sister, Ruby Goodgame (Dr. L.J.)  of Aberdeen, MS and several nieces and nephews.
