Mrs. Denia Cantrell Crowson

Mrs. Denia Crowson, 71, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson, MS. After suffering with health issues the last ten years, Denia has been reunited with her mother in heaven. A private family service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Crowson was born on November 19, 1947 in Guin, AL. She has lived in Terry, MS for the majority of her adult life. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager before retiring 25 years ago. She kept busy with her award winning gardening, arts and crafts of all types, sewing dresses and collecting dolls from around the world. An animal lover of all creatures, she leaves behind her loving dog, Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sue Cantrell; and her brother; Shannon “Lynn” Cantrell. She leaves behind her husband, Rick J. Crowson of 44 years; daughters, Dawn (Carlos) Martinez of Chicago, IL and Christina (Jason) Dunn of Madison, MS; son, Christopher (Elaine) Crowson of Austin, TX; grandsons, Dylan and Austin Dunn and Carlos, Jr. and Alex Martinez; granddaughter, Angelina Martinez; great-grandson, Daniel Martinez; and great-granddaughter, Aliana Martinez.
