Mr. Dennis Charles Ramage

Dennis Charles Ramage Sr. passed away at his home in Florence, MS on Thursday, November 26th, 2020 at the age of 70. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Ramage; his brother, Marvin Ramage; and grandchild, Alex Fuller. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Peggy of 37 years. They were married on June 13th, 1983. Dennis is lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy of Florence; brothers, Tommy, Keith, and Billy Don Ramage; sisters, Yvonne Smith, Debra Walker, and Christie Moore; son, Dennis Ramage Jr. (Sherry Dunnaway); daughters, Kimberly Staggs (Tony Staggs, Sr.), Crystal McCann (John McCann), and Polly Ramage (Phillip Bradley); grandchildren, Tony Staggs Jr., Paige Ramage, Steven Ramage, Devin Staggs, Xander Fuller, Wyatt Ramage, Colin Ramage, Bella McCann, Chloe McCann, and Marla- Jane Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Mason, Peyton, and Paisley Staggs ; and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dennis was born in Indianola, MS on December 13th, 1949. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. Dennis was a Master Mason at lodge #27 in Brandon, MS. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cherished them very much. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home, 2576 Hwy 49 S., Florence MS on November 30th, 2020, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jamie Lamoreaux officiating. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery, 179 Garrett Rd. Florence, MS.
