Derek Anthony Joshua Lush passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, February 21, 2022 at University of Mississippi in Jackson. He was 4 days old. His family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Jesus Name Tabernacle’s Garden of Memories. Derek was welcomed into heaven by his sister, Cherish Lush and his brother, Emmitt Holly. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Derek Lush; mother, Amanda Holifield; sisters, Selena Lush and Elizabeth Medders; brothers, Jayden and James Holly and Christian Medders; and grandparents, Annie Boone, Michael Holifield, and Karen Shurden.
