Mrs. Dianne Cameron

Dianne Cameron, 71, died Friday, October 29, 2021 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation is from 12:00 noon until the service begins at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 2 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Georgetown Cemetery. Mrs. Cameron was born June 21, 1950 in Georgetown, MS to Elmer Franklin Knight and Pauline Taylor Knight. She was a faithful and longtime member of Oakview Baptist Church. She loved her family and all of her children’s friends. Dianne loved her job at H & R Block and tax season was one of her most favorite times of the year. Additionally, she enjoyed yard work, visits to the gulf coast, time with her siblings in Georgetown, and collecting lighthouses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Cameron and her brother, J.C. Knight. Ms. Cameron is survived by two sons: David Cameron of Byram and Elmer “Mo” Cameron (wife Kelly) of Brandon; four grandchildren: Taylor Cameron, Geoffrey Cameron, Katelyn Cameron, and Mollie Odom; two great-grandchildren Alex Cameron and Levi Cameron; her sister, Mary Bates of Georgetown; three brothers: Tony Knight, Elmer “Red” Knight, and Bruce Knight; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
