Mrs. Dixie Ree Grantham

Mrs. Dixie Ree Grantham, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Hospice Ministries, in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7th from 5-8 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Thursday, May 9th from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at Rexford United Methodist Church in Harrisville, where Mrs. Grantham was a member. Burial will follow at Rexford UMC Cemetery. Mrs. Grantham enjoyed fishing and gardening and spent most of her time taking care of others. Mrs. Grantham is survived by her sons, David (Cindy) Grantham Jacksonville, NC; Micah (Katina) Grantham of Star, MS; daughter, Lacy (Zach) Acy of Brandon, MS; brothers, Jerry (Linda) Harper, Larry (Evelyn) Harper, and Bernie (Angela) Barlow all of Harrisville; and grandchildren, Stacey Grantham, Sean Grantham, Jessica Grantham, Amberly Grantham, Austin Grantham, Gage Ables, Gavin Acy, and Maddie Acy.
