Dolores Guidry

Dolores “Dee” Ann Guidry, 59, of Brandon, passed away at home on September 7, 2023. She was the loving wife of Steve L. Guidry. They shared 17 years of marriage together.

Born in Jackson, MS, on August 31, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Otis Clifton Boydston and Christina Medin Boydston. She was employed as an Insurance Underwriter for over 20 years and earned multiple certifications in the insurance field. She enjoyed sewing, beading, and genealogy in her free time. She was known for her kindness and ability to make people smile. She also cherished her two grandsons who she loved with all her heart.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Steve L. Guidry, her step-mother Virginia Cianelli, her son David C. Boydston (Stephanie), her sister Sheila Evans, grandsons Hayes L. Boydston and Morgan C. Boydston, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Priscilla K. Osborne.

A visitation will be held on September 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 and a memorial to follow at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS.
