Don Hancock

Don Hancock, 77, died Saturday morning August 8th at Magee General Hospital in Magee. Visitation will be held Sunday August 9th from 6 until 9pm and from 11am until the 1pm service time Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home of Florence.\ \ Don was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and veteran of U.S. Navy. He had lived in the Florence area for the past Fifty years, where he worked as a self employed carpenter.\ \ Preceded in death by his parents Charley Andrew and Thelma Pace Hancock; son Timothy Hancock; daughter Donna Overstreet; and a sister Edith Vincent. Survivors include his wife Nancy Hollingsworth Hancock; Kevin Hancock, Chris (Staci) Hancock, John Hancock, Susan Hancock, Stephanie (Vern) Loyd, Angie Hancock, and Art (Dena) Hancock; grandchildren Matthew (Michelle) Hancock, Sissy (Kenny) Forst, Donald Overstreet, Kyle (Mary) Overstreet, Brett Overstreet, Amber Hancock, Nikki Loyd, Kenzie Loyd, Elijah Moore, Mkayla Hancock, and Jaxyn Hancock; great grandchild Will Overstreet.\ \ Memorial may be...
