Mr. Donald Watson Baker

Donald Watson Baker, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until the 2:00pm funeral service Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Florence. Mr. Baker was born in Jackson to the late Lenord C. Baker and Louise Rainey Baker. He was a retired Veteran of the U.S. Army, having lived in Byram for the past 20 years. He worked many years as a salesman for Batson Hardware, Sherwin Williams and Orgill Brothers. Mr. Baker was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. Survivors include his wife Patricia Beard Baker of Byram; daughter, Audrea (Larry) White of Braxton; sons, Donald (Pam) Baker of Brandon and Lee (Deanna) Baker of Springfield, TN; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous cousins.
