Mr. Donald "Don" Paul Phillips

Mr. Donald Paul Phillips, 84, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his home surrounded in love by his family. There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Reverend Malcolm Pinion will officiate. Don was born in Kansas City, MO on December 16, 1933 to the late Rebert P. and Leora Lydia Phillips. He lived most of his life from 1969 in Richland, MS. Don was an artist and he spent most of his spare time drawing, doing water colors, oil paintings and woodworking. He could create anything from wood, including, but not limited to furniture, toys and puzzles. Along with his parents, Mr. Phillips was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Christina Mann and his sister, Betty Jean Deister. He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Jean Phillips of Richland; son, Bryan Paul (Robin Kelly) Phillips of Raymond; step son, Tony Cole of Waveland, MS; step daughter, Debbie (Barry) Kynerd of Florence; and 6 grandchildren, Sydney, Wyatt, Darby, Cole, Jared and Richard.
