Mr. Donald "Donnie" Ray Humphrey

Donald Ray “Donnie” Humphrey, 64, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Wesleyanna United Methodist Church in Star, MS with a visitation beginning one hour prior to service. Donnie had lived 3 years in Florence, MS but was from Richlands, NC. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received dedicated service awards. He enjoyed horseback riding, and piloting ultra-light airplanes. He is preceded in death by his father, Matthew Humphrey; a son Kelly Humphrey and his brother Ronnie Humphrey. He is survived by his mother, Annie Ruth Humphrey of Richlands, NC; 2 children Dena H. (Adam) Radcliffe of Braxton and Jason (Cindy) Humphrey of Gautier, MS; a step daughter, Lori Fisher of Richlands, NC; a sister Brenda (James) Albertson of Beulaville, NC; 5 grandchildren, Halla and Autumn Radcliffe, Morgan Humphrey, and Joshua and Jordyn Fisher; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
