Mr. Donald Keith Rice

Donald Keith Rice, 53, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2nd from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, February 3rd from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Donald Keith was a member of Victory Congregational Methodist Church in Florence. He loved his family and he loved the Lord! He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Donald Keith is preceded in death by his father, Frank Rice; sister, Jewel Knight; brother, Ronald Karl Rice; and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Connie Rice of Florence; his mother, Carlena Rice of Terry; sons, Donald Keith Rice, Jr. of Lakeland, FL and DeWayne Rice of Florence; daughter, Donna Jean Rice of Florence; granddaughters, Chloe Morgan of Crystal Springs and Savannah Dixie Jean Rice of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Frankie Marie Cheatham of Terry, Margie (Johnny) Gordon of Harrisville, and Rose (Mike) Pace of Florence; numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs, Rusty and Miss Priss.
