Donald Martell

Donald Earl Martell, 69, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Sunday, March 13 from 1p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.\ \ Mr. Martell was employed with General Motors for 45 years until retiring. He loved to play golf, hunt, and he enjoyed rebuilding trucks. He was a loving husband and devoted father.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Katie Martell; son, Donald Martell, Jr.; daughter, Debi Martell; brothers, Alfred, John, and Robert Martell; and his sisters, Betty Boyer and Shirley Spencer.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 50 years Geri Martell of Florence; his brother, Kenneth Martell (Helen) of FL; sister, Ruth Holsopple of OH ; sister-in-laws, Pearl Martell of OH, Helen Martel of PA and Marlene Martell of PA; and one grandchild, Heath R. Webber of Elyria, OH.\
