Donald Dean Posey Jr.

Donald “Bubba” Dean Posey Jr. passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Florence, MS. He was 66 years old. The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the home of Donald Posey.

Bubba was born on October 13, 1957, to Donald Dean Posey Sr. and Gwendolyn Price Posey in Laurel. MS. He loved his dogs, Baby Girl and Tink Tink, riding his Harley and he loved his family.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Lynn (Collie) Posey; stepmother, Dorothy Posey; and sister, Donna Hobby. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Posey of Jackson; son, Jeremy Posey (Telisa) of Columbus, MS; grandchildren, Madyson Posey, and Carver Posey; sisters, Sue Smith (Tyrus) of Bremen, GA, Darles Chaney (Bo) of Breman, GA, and Janice Bass (Mike) of Breman, GA.
