Doris Loretta Frye Cherry, born on September 30, 1924 in Stevensville, Montana, left this earth on Friday, October 28,2011 to go home to be with her Lord and Savior. The family will receive visitors from 11 :00 AM until the 1:00 PM service today at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson.\ \ \ She is survived by her sons, Richard Stanley Cherry (Sue), Wayne Freeman Cherry, and Harvey Clinton Cherry (Lena); grandchildren, Christy Jordan Sanders (Ottis), James Zack Cherry (Jessica); Clinton Cherry; Michelle Cherry Spinks (Bobby). 6 great-grandchildren; and best friends, Bea Surrett, Frances Grant and Nina Lacey.\ \ Mrs. Cherry was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard Freeman Cherry; by her father, Newt Clinton Frye; and mother Martha Lou Stanley Frye; and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.\ \ Online guestbook can be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
