Mrs. Doris Christine Jennings

Mrs. Doris Christine Jennings, 87, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at her home in Harrisville. She was a lifelong resident of Harrisville, a member of Harrisville Baptist Church and an Eastern Star member. Visitation will be Saturday, May 24th from 5-8pm and Sunday, May 25th from 12:00pm until the 2:00pm funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Harrisville Cemetery. Mrs. Jennings is survived by her sons, David (Jean) Jennings of Richland and Glen (Cindy) Jennings of Magee; daughter, Linda (David) Macoy of Harrisville; and sister, Merle Lewis of Harrisville; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jennings; son, James S. Jennings; daughter, Debra Jennings Walters; 2 sisters and 2 brothers
